Today I am reporting on my twenty third week (days 158 through 165) on the Dukan diet. This week has been a really good one on the weight-loss front. I managed to lose 3.6 pounds for the week, bringing my total weight loss on the Dukan diet to 51.2 pounds. I am eating an average of 1,900 calories per day (while getting a good amount of exercise) without feeling hungry. I bought some pants this week with a 32-inch waist and they fit comfortably. And in theory I now know the secret to getting six-pack abs. Here is how the week unfolded:
Let’s say you are on a diet like the Dukan diet and you “get stuck” at a certain weight. You might have been losing weight for several weeks, and then the weight loss stops. Like this:
“I am trying to break the 80 kg barrier since the last 6 weeks or so and I have not been succesful yet. I seem to go up and down with a range of 2 kgs from 80 to 82 and back… very annoying and not really motivating I can tell you!”
Or this…
And today I am reporting on my twenty second week (days 151 through 158) on the Dukan diet. This week had moments of brilliance and I reached a new low of 176.6 (51.0 total pounds lost). But then I gained a bunch of water weight for reasons that are not entirely clear, and I ended the week up 2.0 pounds rather than losing weight. Here is how the week unfolded…
And today I am reporting on my twenty first week (days 144 through 151) on the Dukan diet. This has been a really good week because I hit 177.6 pounds, meaning that I have lost a total of 50.0 pounds so far on the Dukan diet. Yay! I also reaffirmed the water-purging qualities of asparagus and came face-to-face with my nut addiction. Of course that same day I hit the 50.0 milestone I ate a pound of hamburger patties for dinner and my weight rose 0.4 pounds. So yesterday I weighed 177.6, and today I am at 178.0. Overall, I lost 2.0 pounds for the week and have lost 49.6 pounds since starting the Dukan diet. Here is how the week unfolded:
As many of you know, I started on the Dukan diet about 150 days ago. Today I got on the scale and I weighed 177.6 pounds. Since I weighted 227.6 on the day that I started this diet, it means I reached the “50.0 pounds lost” milestone today.
Losing 50 pounds has made a huge difference in my life. But in addition, losing the first 10 pounds made a big difference in my life, and that only took a couple of weeks.
So what is the secret here?
And today I am reporting on my twentieth week (days 137 through 144) on the Dukan diet. This has been a “normal” week – no great amount of exercise like last week, no huge transgressions. But there was one exciting moment on the diet front – I tasted the 170s for one day. Yesterday I weighed 179.6, although today I had inched back up to 180.0. Overall, I lost 2.0 pounds for the week. Here is how the week unfolded…
Today I am reporting on my nineteenth week (days 130 through 137) on the Dukan diet. I had an exceptionally good day this week – I was able to ride my bike 100 miles in a single shot on Sunday – a beautiful Fall day. It feels amazing to be able to do that, and it is a testimony to how much better off I am having lost all this weight. It has made a huge difference in how I feel and how much I enjoy exercise. But I also had a bad day this week – a day of deep transgression for which I am still paying the price. Even a hundred mile bike ride has not erased it. Here is how the week unfolded…
Today I am reporting on my eighteenth week (days 123 through 130) on the Dukan diet. I was very pleased to see a weight drop of 3.4 pounds this week, putting me at 181.2 and now within striking range of the 170s. I also rode my bike 71 miles on Sunday, which felt great. Here is how the week unfolded…
The article below contains what has to be the easiest, safest weight loss tip ever. So far this weight loss tip has only been demonstrated in older adults. But if you are an older adult it is soooo simple and harmless, you might want to give it a try. All you have to do is drink some water before a meal…
Today I am reporting on my seventeenth week (days 116 through 123) on the Dukan diet. It has been great week for exercise – I rode something like 100 miles this week on exercise and real bicycles, including a 61 mile ride on Sunday. But I only lost 0.8 pounds this week, which surprises me a little. Here is how the week unfolded…
