I’ll admit, I don’t really do anything to celebrate Easter except eat awesome food with the fam, but that doesn’t mean I pass at the opportunity to put together a fun centerpiece with flowers to brighten up the table, too. So after the jump, there’s a collection of ideas and advice for putting together a lovely little Easter showpiece without spending lots of money.
So you messed up, eh? Well you’ve come to the right place. If your significant other is a little ticked off or hurt by something you did (or didn’t do) a thoughtful bouquet can really sweeten your apology. It’s a lot harder to stay upset with someone when he or she has a bouquet beneath a sincerely apologetic gaze.

Have you ever seen a 21,527-square-foot rug? No? Well, look to your left, folks. There’s one right there. And here’s the really delightful part: That rug wasn’t woven with a loom the size of a low-rise office building and it isn’t made of wool. It’s actually 21,527-square-feet of flowers — begonias, to be exact. Yes, every other August, one of these fragrant flower carpets is rolled out at the stately Grand Palace square in Brussels, Belgium.
This recent post from The Kitchn reminded me that you can do more than decorate with spring flowers. You can also eat them.
