Have you ever wanted to make your own flip-flops? Maybe you didn't know it was possible, or that it was so easy. And you might not have guessed that your flip-flops can be free because you are making them out of junk you can find on the side of the road. Intrigued? If you go back to the first link, one of the interesting things about it is the use of braided plastic shopping bags to make plastic rope. It turns out that you can also use plastic shopping bags to make a waterproof tyvek-like material.
