Amazing – what people can build #15 – an amazing Lego construction

The intricacy of the design, the number of creative ideas, the time invested and the cost of the parts all together are mind boggling. If you love Legos it is definitely worth a look:

For some reason I am reminded of this video once again:

Were he collecting and measuring and categorizing species of ants or plankton, he might be considered one of the world’s great scientists. Which is something funny about our world. If you are an expert in pocket monsters, that doesn’t really have much value. But an expert in quarks could, theoretically, win the Nobel prize if the expertise is applied in the proper way. Someone who can hit small white balls into a cup consistently can win millions of dollars in golf tournaments. But if you throw small white balls into cups, you make not nearly so much.
