It took businessman and car collector Bruce Weiner over 15 years to gather the world’s largest collection of the world’s smallest cars; but it’ll only take 48 hours to completely empty his museum. The entire contents of The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum, including 200 microcars and more than 300 lots of assorted collectibles, will be auctioned off (at no reserve) on Feb. 15 and 16, 2013 in Madison, Ga.
RM Auctions, the world’s largest collector car auction house, is running the weekend event. And if you’re interested in bidding (remember, you’ll have to register to do that), getting a preview of what’s for sale, or even if you just want to watch the auction action on a live video feed, you can do it all right here.
Just in case you missed it, there’s a tab at the bottom of that page that takes you to a really cool digital catalog. There’s some great microcar information in there — plus, you can take a look at every single lot that’s up for auction, including the cars. The photos in this catalog are simply amazing. What a fantastic collection!
