OK, maybe it’s just us. But we thought we’d talk about some of those movies that happen at Christmas but just aren’t “Christmas movies.”

- Holly’s “Die Hard” dilemma (We have discovered, since we recorded, that it may be that she is so turned off by the presence of “Jingle Bell Rock” at the start that she just can’t get past it.)

- Every “Little Women”
- “Cast Away”
- “When Harry Met Sally”
- The “Harry Potter” movies
- All of the “Lord of the Rings” movies
- “L.A. Confidential”
- “American Psycho”
- “Love Actually”
- Winter movies: “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Shining” (and some others’ take-offs on it)
- “Prometheus”
