His name is Zach Wahls. He is a 19-year-old student at the University of Iowa. He, according to the video description, speaks “about the strength of his family during a public forum on House Joint Resolution 6 in the Iowa House of Representatives. Wahls has two mothers, and came to oppose House Joint Resolution 6 which would end civil unions in Iowa.”

It seems logical to assume that we will be hearing a lot more from Mr. Wahls in the years to come.
