Sure, we know that teenagers can expect some spotty skin, thanks to all those hormonal changes, but did you know that the trouble may not end? That stinks — there’s just no other way to put it. And bad news, ladies: Adult acne is more common in women than men. In exploring this topic, we talked a little bit about why acne can persist (or start up for the first time) in adult years as well as the stigma associated with having bad skin as an adult.
