Sometimes an idea is so interesting and amazing (perhaps outrageous) that it enters the realm of funny. This might be one of those ideas. It is called Kolelinio:
On the good side, it would be pretty inexpensive to implement. And it would definitely provide a way to get across a city quickly. But then you start thinking of the problems. Like what if your batteries go dead halfway along the wire? That’s the most obvious one. Or you fall to your death?
Could this idea be adapted in some way to make it just a little more user friendly? For example, could it turn into sky buckets like you see at an amusement park, or a ski lift?
Or perhaps a full-scale urban transportation system is the way to go.
