The basic dill pickle recipe:
- Cucumbers
- Fresh dill
- Garlic
- Brine (3 cups water, 2 cups white vinegar, 1/4 cup pickling salt)
Boil the brine. Pack a jar with cucumbers, dill and garlic, then pour in brine, leaving a half-inch air space at the top.
