Yeah, I thought so. And I promise you, this short video clip is interesting enough to warrant a few minutes of your time. Besides, just look at the way that smug little red and white striped Ford Aspire is mocking the guys from MythBusters — it’s looking for trouble, if you ask me.
This is an older video clip, but one that’s new to me. Early this morning I was poking around some of the blogs and automotive news sites — mainly to find out what’s happening in Detroit these days — and that’s when I stumbled upon an interesting blog entry from Jonny Lieberman at Autoblog.
Forget the news — today we get to watch things smash together at high-speed! Hmmm…maybe I should have said really high-speed? Nope. It’s a lot faster than that. Let’s go with absurd-speed. Yeah, that’s much more accurate. Anyway, here it is:
So, what do you think? Isn’t the destruction unbelievable? In a way, this video clip reminded me of the countless early Saturday mornings I spent in front of the television balancing a bowl of breakfast cereal on my lap and watching the Road Runner (Super-sonicus-tastius) outwit Wile E. Coyote (Apetitius-giganticus). Somehow that Coyote always had an endless supply of ACME rocket sleds (ACME rocket-powered roller skates, ACME dynamite, ACME glue, and so on) at his disposal.
I think Jonny Lieberman is right. This video WILL make you giggle like a 10-year-old.
