Confession time: In the last month, I’ve logged in to Google Reader and marked 1,000+ items as read in one fell swoop at least four times. And if you read FanStuff regularly, you’ve probably noticed that, aside from a flurry of activity leading up to Halloween, the blog’s been pretty quiet. There’s plenty of cool stuff happening in the worlds of TV, movies, music and games, and I could probably get to it all with the help of time dilation. But as it stands now, FanStuff needs more cowbell than I can provide by myself.
So, starting this week, HowStuffWorks editor Chanel Lee is going to be joining me at FanStuff. She and I occasionally wind up on the same train during our evening commute, and when we do, the conversation is all “Lost” this and “Buffy” that. When I was driving back to Atlanta after Thanksgiving and saw a bumper sticker that read, “I drive like a Cullen,” the first thing I wanted to do was e-mail Chanel so we could talk about our mutual noncomprehension of adult Twihards. She was even on “Jeopardy!” once, so I think she’ll fit right in, and I’m excited that she’ll be joining me on the blog.
I’ll still be around, and I have a big pile of posts in the hopper, so I’ll still be writing here. To tide you over until she and I both get back to blogging, here are some article recommendations from Chanel:
