RG: I stopped doing the old Listener Mail intro a long time ago. In two recent podcasts I brought it back, but that was because several listeners had asked for it. I don’t plan on introducing the segment that way every time. But just understand that for every message I get about “I hate the way you used to say Listener Mail!” I get one that says “I miss the way you used to say Listener Mail!” No matter what I do, some people aren’t going to be happy.

For the record, I cut it out mainly because I got tired of doing it that way. I did it as a joke the first time and it kind of stuck. But I certainly don’t wish to cause anyone hearing damage.

RG: If you want to unsubscribe, that’s fine. But I’ve only brought back the old way twice in the dozens of episodes we’ve recorded since I first stopped.
