Photos – Gigapixel images

Most cameras today top out at 10 to 20 megapixels. What if you want to take a gigapixel image? Here is one tool that will let you do it:

The Gigapan system

It is a small (3.5 pound) motorized mount that automatically takes dozens of images of the scene. Then you stitch them all together to create a giant image.
