Back in 2005, as the PS3 was getting ready to launch, there was an amazing trailer for MotorStorm that Sony used to hype the console. This is that trailer:

This trailer was pure fantasy. In this interview, you can see the the actual developers of MotorStorm had nothing to do with the trailer’s creation:

That 2005 trailer is still setting the bar. Even the 2008 version of MotorStorm (Pacific Rift) does not appear to be there yet. But it is getting closer:
