2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: Revealed, Officially!
It has a supercharged 6.2 liter engine producing something around 620 HP. It has a lot of carbon – in the front fenders, hood and roof. The HP to weight ratio is excellent at 5.4 pounds per HP (compared to 5.7 for the Viper and 6.0 for the Porsche 911 GT2). According to GM, “the ZR1 is expected to be the first production Corvette to achieve a top speed of at least 200 mph.”
